Question

1. My employer uses functional organisation structure.

Functional organisation structure means:

- Employee performing similar roles club in similar departments and perform activities assigned to them.

- They also consist of similar skill sets

2. Why do I think so:

In our organisation we have different departments like:

1. Sales

2. Pre sales

3. Consulting

4. Human Resource Department

5. Finance department

6. Administration Department

For every department there is a Manager and a team under him or her

In a particular department people are hired with particular skill sets. For example Sales department hires only people who are skilled in selling.

Hence it is a functional organisation.
