1)Candidate key is nothing but the primary key

the conditions for primary key is that it has to be unique i.e. no two rows will have same value. The primary key here is Purchase order number i.e. PurOrd Num as the values are given to each product purchaced and are unique. All the other columns have atleast one value which is same for two rows.even if same product is purchased the ord number varies.

2)there are 6 possible FD for A--> B,C format

DistID--> DistName, DistProd ID

DistID--> DistName, PurOrd Num

DistID--> PurOrd Num, DistProd ID

DistProd ID-->UPC No., Prod Name

DistProd ID-->UPC No.,PurOrd Num

DistProd ID-->Prod Name,PurOrd Num
