1. It’s clear to see that testing and developing are two activities that conflict with one another. However, there is a synergy there that many people ignore. Why is it helpful to think like a tester when developing? Why is it helpful to think like a developer when testing?

Why is it helpful to think like a tester when developing?

It is always helpful to think like a tester while developing the code because that way the chances are more for you as a developer to cover as many test cases as possible or the corner cases which can be missed pretty easily but if the developer is writing the code keeping the final product in mind not just the module he/she is working on then the final output can be really promising.

Why is it helpful to think like a developer when testing?

The same analogy goes in this case as well where the tester will start to think like a developer what will happen in this case is that the chance will be more to encounter the test cases which can be easily missed by a developer and mark them.

In the waterfall model, the requirements are pretty much static it doesn't change from time to time but on the other hand, the agile model works in such a way or we can say is designed in such a way that it is flexible to the requirement changes due to daily discussions and report tasks schedules.

The waterfall is oldest from the each and was introduced in 1956, Agile was in 1993.
