About the Virtual Organisation- In 1990, a network of cooperation made possible by, what is called ICT, i.e. Information and Communication Technology, which is flexible and comes to meet the dynamics of the market is emerged and known as virtual organisation also known as digital organisation, network organisation or modular organisation. It is a social network in which all the horizontal and vertical boundaries are removed. We can call it a boundary less organisation in which individual’s working out of physically dispersed work places, or even individuals working from mobile devices and not tied to any particular workspace.
With an objective to achieve the common goal set by a virtual organisation, ICT coordinates the activities. Managers in these organisations coordinate and control external relations with the help of computer network links.

Citrix is organized into three units: Workspace Services, Delivery Network, and Mobility Apps. Citrix licenses its services and products directly to clients, including IT professionals, SMEs, and through companies called value-added resellers that resell the products and services after adding additional features.
c. Narrate the benefits of adopting the Organisation in to Virtual
1-Overhead costs reduction- Lot of expenses comes into picture in any real firm which is not the case if one runs company virtually. Issues about leasing office space, buying furniture, paying for utilities will be ended. A main office with just a few employees means no need to lease nearly as much office space.
2-Satisfaction Guranteed- Need for flexible hours leads to more talented work force waiting for jobs where they can work from home. This creates more opportunities to hire talented team members who might not otherwise be able or willing to work for a company which now can virtually from home. These employees can work with ease of home and feel satisfied.
3-Higher scalability- In any real office, demand of increase staff often requires moving into a larger office space as compared to a virtual firm. A firm can scale up the business without thinking and planning about space. Thus less power, heating, air conditioning costs as a result.
