Question

The organizational culture has seven dimensions as follows.

Outcome culture:

This dimension is result oriented and concentrates only on the achievements rather than the process or techniques used to produce the outcome. The outcome culture is encouraged using the rewarding program and is highly performance oriented. The result oriented culture doesn’t concentrate on the age, gender, qualification of the performer whereas it considers only the satisfactory outcome status of the employee. When there is high emphasis on the result, it may lead to negative consequences such as unethical practices to produce high performance.

Stability:

The stable culture is finding the best way to achieve the desired result. It provides a defined set of rules to be followed and attempts to standardize the procedures and process within an organization. The stable culture can be applied to law and most of the government organization where the stability is at priority. There will be enough time to take the decision in the stable environment and the decisions will be consistent. The risk with the stable culture is when it is applied to a dynamic environment, it hinders the growth with standards which needs to be changed with the changing environment.
