Question
A market oriented concept means that all the activities such as manufacturing of products, development of services etc. are based on the needs, tastes and preferences of the people, what exactly a customer would want and what is it that could sell well, whereas the product orientation means that the company is focusing on the product much more than the market i.e. company puts all the efforts and resources in optimizing the product and making the product good enough to get sold.
Green marketing means a product is made or manufactured in an environment friendly manner, in a much more sustainable manner, the manufacturing of that product has resulted in no loss to the environment; eco-friendliness is taken utmost care of in green marketing. This difference means that product oriented marketing has a much wider scope of contributing to the eco-friendliness of the environment as the company puts all the resources and efforts in manufacturing sustainable market friendly products.
