Part1:

Fibre optic cable is one of the fast growing mediums for the new cabling and upgrade installations.It is also used in computer application.There are many advantages of Fibre optic cables

Advantages:

1.Fibre optic cables have greater band width.

For example, now-a-days internet has been playing a major role in the world. so if we consider a business organisation conducting a video conference and if you are using a bandwidth which is limited say 20mbps then some of them may not be able to access or some of them can access it slowly which varies in the speed when you wanted them to connect for more networks. So in this case if we use fibre optic cables you will be able to access with good speed as bandwith is higher and able to access to multiple users of the network with low tax even

2.Fibre optic provides reliability and immunity

For example if you use a copper wire,you can face the problem of disturbances while cross talk and fluctuations when used in large industries. So in place of copper wire if you use fibre optic cable it provides extremely reliable data transmissions and in immune as the core of the cable is made up of glass and acts as insulator which does not allow current to flow.Fibre optic cable also less susceptable to flactuations and no worry even if submerged in water.

An amplifier is a device which increases the voltage,power, current of a signal and amplifies the signal.It amplifies the distorted signal as a result noise also gets amplified. this is used for short distances

A repeater is also an amplifier amplifying the input signal to other side.In repeater first the signal is reconstructed and the distorted which results in less signal distortion due to noise.It is also used for long distances as there is no noise signal as it is first reconstructed and then amplified.

So while transmitting data over long distances repeaters are used instead of amplifiers

Part 4:

Graphical User Interface uses graphics along with a keyboard and mouse,to provide an easy to use interface to a program.It provides windows,pulldown menus,buttons,scrollbars,iconic images,wizards and other icons and the mouse to enable the users to interact with the operating system. users easy to control,manipulate and toggle through multiple programs and folders at same time. Using Command Line Interface, it do not offer the same ease and ability to view multiple things at once on one screen.
