An organisation will be successful if they manage to get right person for right job. Most difficult thing for big organisation is to understand individual employee’s strength and weakness so that organisation can get best out of them. If organisation is able to understand how an individual is performing on a specific job allotted to him then it will be very smooth working as well as we will be able to get best output from them.
For understanding individual performances, we have to follow an integrated approach.
First of all, we have to know what’s the motivation factor behind employee’s performance. Most of people who work just for money don’t give a pretty good performance. They will be average performer. For more extraordinary performance we should identify the employee who are passionate. This can be found out with various activities. Leadership is also one of the most important and influential factor in a individual performance. Sometimes performance of star employees is also affected due to bad leadership or poor leadership decisions. So if we are going to evaluate someone, we have to keep in mind how leader is performing under whom they are working. Other normal factors which we can consider are performance over past year in project completion, quality of work etc. These things should be evaluated after adequate notice, fair hearing and judgment based on evidence. Candidates should have a fair idea of the parameters on which they will be evaluated, communication should be two ways, and most important judgment should be done based on facts not on personal opinions. These things will remain same irrespective of place and culture and can be adopted globally.

No single method is perfect we have to look at the conditions under which employee is evaluated and then choose the method accordingly.
