I am a human resource professional. I know there are many activities which comes under legislation of the government authority. For example: Salary should be disburse on time . Compensation to any worker due to injury at plant might be come under legal purview. Apart from this , equal opportunities must be given to all the employees incase of a job interview or any promotion from within the organization.

Apart from these , healthcare needs of employees, a fair and equitable pay , bonus , gratuitous payment, fringe benefits, stock options available to employees etc. might be also come under the purview of legal framework of employemnet in the industry.

Unions management, employees participation in management, retrenchment, layoffs ,no discrimination, leave policy for disability, etc. should also be covered under labor or workplace laws.

As a responsible manger or employee, i will study about the prevailing legislation in the idustry as wll as in the country. After that i will talk with my collegues as well as the senior level of management to formulate a guidlines which are in line with the legal and ethical consideration.

In my office , i will voluntarily follow the guidelines which are mandated by fedral , state or local legal authority. I will take feedback from the employees to know whether they are given any statutory protection or not. I will take further decision accordingly.
