Question
The file parts was taken from the Digikey web catalog; it is a listing of various IC devices. Each line of this file has the standard IC part number (SNxxxxx), Digikey?s part number, a part description, a package type (e.g. 14-Dip, 20-Dip, 20-SOP, etc.) and three price fields. The first price is the unit price for small quantities (<25) of the item. The second price is the price for a group of 25 of the same item, and the third is the price for a group order of 100 of the same item. You have just learned that the 100 unit price is no longer available for all devices with a 14-Dip package type. Design a filter to edit the parts file so that every device with a 14-Dip package type has the 100 unit price replaced by n/a. Your filter should write the complete file out to standard output, with the changes required by this problem.
a) Give the filter command you used to correct the parts file.
