Generally we present any slide after having prepared about it quite nicely in a calm environment, waiting for our turn and the when the time comes, we present in front of the class what we have mugged up or prepared the previous night. When faced with any obstacle we fumble because we weren't prepared for that. In a real life scenario or in a corporate environment you have got to be ever ready, you never know when you need to perform an elevator pitch and that might change your entire life. In real job scenario, you need to be ready to answer any question about your work, company or competitors.

This format of presentation, makes you more vigilant, and ready to go whenever the need arises. It makes you confident to face higher dignitaries, which you might need to face almost everyday in a corporate environment. During that time you hit the hammer on the nail's head and you crack the deal in an instant (just by being ever ready).
