In my Opinion RPA, Robotics Processing automation would be the Technology to look out for in the next 5 years. I am sure this would dominate Normal Organizations, product as well as service organizations.

Juts like the BPM technology played key roles in not-it and it firms, where it acted as a Layer in all the Products and processes, RPA would be the base layer for many products and processes in the near future.

RPA would automate lots of manual and redundant process, reduce man power requirement, leaving just the supervision part to oversee the process in Major organizations.

Even product organizations like SAP, Oracle would introduce RPA as a layer to complement their product, where lots f manual intervention would be overridden by this RPA.

This technology has three main players who have strong RPA tools, but this segment will see a lot of competition, where RPA, would no more be a standalone tool or technology, but will complement lot of upcoming product and technologies.
