Thanks guys! 5. (20 points) Raid Disks I (5 points) if your disk system almost never has errors and you don't care if you lose data which raid should you use? Explanation / Answer

1. If the disk system has never has error ,it means that either system has huge capacity of storage and system is used less in daily life. And we don't care about data in the disk system. Thus RAID 0 should be used because this raid type is not error tolerant and if the drive fails , whole data is viped out from raid array.

2. If disk system has lots of errors and data is valuable. Thus RAID 1 should be used due to value of data ,as in this type of raid data duplication occurs i.e. data is stored at two places , either of them fails . It can be recovered back.

3. Streaming video from Mars lander and data rate is very low . Thus, Raid 6 should be used as data is saved twice and secured.

4. Streaming video from high speed rocket launch. And data is valuable then , raid 6 should be used as read data transmission is faster in video streaming and provides security & good performance.
