Below is what Southwest Airlines should do in response to the woman’s complaint about how she was treated during the flight -

As the policy of the Airlines doesn't specify that carrying nail polish and using it in flight are disallowed, it cannot stop her from polishing her nails. As she disobeyed the flight attendant's orders and used cuss words, she is treated the way. Hence, Southwest should clearly create a policy either to ban using nail polish on flight and take action against individuals using them against the policy.
But as of now, Southwest should just clearly state the reason behind its treatment to the passenger and apologize for any inconvenience.
Explanation / Answer
What should southwest Airlines do in response to the woman’s complaint about how she was treated during the flight?
1. Nothing. This woman was inconsiderate to other passengers by not realizing that the smell of nail polish can be irritating to others. I’m glad that the airline stopped her from polishing her nails. Also, the woman was taken into custody by police because of her inappropriate behaviour to the flight attendant
2. Southwest should create a policy of banning nail polish remover and nail polish on flights. The airline should not reimburse the woman in any way because she acted rudely to one of the employees.
3. Southwest should apologize to the woman and gave her a free flight to anywhere in the United States. After all, it is not against any rules to bring nail polish remover and nail polish on a plane. If you can bring them on a flight, then why shouldn’t a person be allowed to use them?
