Change can be difficult in organizations; both from an individual worker's standpoint and an organizational standpoint. Using the individual and organizational sources of resistance to change answer the following two questions:
#1) Why do you think good workers stay in bad jobs? Which of the individual and organizational factors do you believe play the strongest influences on this decision?
#2) Why do you think organizations stay with below average or bad workers? Which of the individual and organizational factors do you believe play the strongest influences on this decision?

Because of these reasons, workers tend to keep themselves safe by staying in bad jobs.

All these factors create a cyclical process. The worker don't try to learn something new, the organization don't plan for their career in the same organization, the workers learning stays limited, they start fearing challenge and entering a volatile environment and subsequently they don't try to learn something new. In all a worker wasn't bad from the start, but due to all these influencing factors the worker's quality level shifts from good to bad.
