Yes discrepancy is acceptable.

Reason: The change in dynamics of business is highly unpredictable and the managers visionary in the current era is not that accurate as earlier. Especially the trust in business is going down because of lack of ethical decision making skills and value deterioration. Management as a science is also very important perspective where many new areas such as warehouse automation, supply chain optimisation ( transportation newtwork design) all has significant role in reducing the overall cost of serving customers. Thus trends in business is varying from region to region and inability of managers to forecast the changes is considered to be the discrepancy in the report.

Continual change i management actually needs to adapt with required change or pace. Many times it just happening for the sake of change and the new management lags the analysis skill which is required to understand the requirement of change and moving with dynamics of change. Thus every management role shoudl equip with sufficient capability to deal with changing business dynamics. There is no proper sustianbality focus in many leadership styles and this had to be incorporated properly.
