Need help answering the following questions in regards to DBA:

1. Name three types of database comparisons that may be required in a changing database environment.

2.  Describe an alternative change method that can be used if your organization does not use a database change management tool.

3. What is meant by the term cascading DROP?

4.  Why must the DBA understand the relationship between a database change and the application changes that are needed to use the changed data?

5.  Why would a DBA want to have the capability to compare one database structure to another quickly and simply?

1) Some of the components for database environment change are as follows:

Query processor, data manager, processor.

2) DBeaver, SQuirrel etc can be used.

3) DROP TABLE helps to remove the index, rules, triggers, and constraints which is meant for the target table. Whereas dropping a table will be referenced by a view or with respect to foreign key or any other table , here cascading is a must.

4) DBA should be able to understand the database change along with the application change as a single data change might affect the application completely.

Example:Duplicate data can prevent the application from opening.
