Explanation / Answer

1. Do you think companies can find quality executives and managers without using external talent search agencies Explain and support your answer?

Yes, companies can find quality executives and managers without using the external search agencies. They can achieve this by the following actions and strategies:

2.    Do you think that companies that are bringing the recruiting back in house are going to save money in the long run explain and support your answer

Yes, the companies will save money in the long run as they do not have to pay the exorbitant amount to the external agencies for hiring the candidates. The investments in internal teams and leveraging available technologies will render the expertise of external agencies not of much use and all recruitment will be handled internally except the very specialized ones.

3.    Do you believe the contracted executive recruiting firms will go away?

The executive recruiting forms will remain but only for very specialized and niche area candidate hiring. Understanding of such niche requirements and available talent pool might not be available internally within the company. For all other commodity recruiting, it will be handled within the company and by internal staff.

4.    What are your thoughts about how recruiting of executives is currently done

There is a very impersonal approach to recruiting now a days where candidates are just seen as numbers and choices rather than understanding their goals and objectives with a particular role. Also, the selling happens a little opaquely as the candidate sometimes does not know the exact job details and the function within the company. All these create many challenges for the candidates and they may join a role which they might not be interested in and finally quit and leave.
