The reason why Dr Archer gather this information was to gather the right sample size and demographic for in order to make sure that the study has factual findings. Sample sizes generally are considered to be the minimum number of people in a survey or a research who provide the researchers or surveyors a rough idea about the tastes, preferences and or habits of the general populous.   Yes i do think that his findings were accurate and feasible because the metrics he used were age, gender, geography, multiple scenarios. Yes since smartphone usage is a generic trend and not a niche, with exceptions of a few variations due to geography, age , culture and socio economic factors. these trends may be seen and applied to other individuals right now.
