Clearly it is not a policy violation.

Explanation:

                 The clear advantage of the devices is to give geographical info and traffic density of areas as statistical data. Using the statistical info one can make use of it derivative application like choosing site for setting up camera to catch speedsters was clearly not policy violation. It is effective usage of the device by the police department.

2.18 Similarities and differences, relevant to privacy between camera and cop walking.

Similarities:

a. Both the functional part are same providing security and avoiding trespassers.

b. Coverage Over entire Tampa

Differences:

1. Camera can work 24/7, but cop needs shift change to cover 24/7

2. Cop as human may commit mistake or get tired easily, however the camera system go by protocol will never commit mistakes and will not get tired.

3. Can't handle exceptions automatically, but human cops can understand the situation and can make timely decisions.
