The two big companies are in court over some product dispute. One of the judge C in the panel (total 5 members) has a financial relationship with one of the company in the case. Before the start of the case in court, company offers a new car to judge C. Will there be any conflict of interest, is the action of the company fall under the category of the corruption. Yes. This will have direct impact on the case. There will be high chances of bias from the judge because he has already taken illegal benefit from the particular company. Ethically saying the Judge has to reveal his financial obligaion or relationship with the company and he should move out from the panel for this particular case. The case is about dispute of similar product. The company has already influneced one member of the judging panel through financial liability. Thus there is high chance of getting thigs favrable to that company. Any company should do ethical practise by making their product their own inhouse creation through applying patent. This wil help in avoiding disputes in future.
