I have selected the corporate world and will discuss about Mr. Sundar Pichai who is the current CEO of Google Inc.
Mr. Pichai is a leader par excellence and what makes him tick as a leader is the following principles that he strictly adheres to – empower employees and focus more on success of others rather than your own. Mr. Pichai strongly believes that as a leader it is his responsibility to make other people and his employees successful. He constantly strives to help his employees to achive their goals and work in an efficient and effective manner.
What also makes Mr. Pichai a good leader is his manifestation of humanity in an otherwise digital and technology empowered company, his ability to remain calm and unflappable during crisis and hour of need, his desire to develop collaborative relationship with all stakeholders, his visionary nature and his strong communication skills.
The specific idea that Mr. Pichai has is that even though Google is a technology company it should strive to be a human company. As a result Google, under his leadership, is focusing more on empowering its users.
