State if you agree or disagree with the discussion behind

“Best Practices and Globalization”, which discusses how reform has grown within the public administration arena, and issues that have arisen from said growth and development, and applying these findings to Human Resource Management. I feel this article is relevant to course discussion because it first touches on the “business model”, the model that most attribute to public administration in general. This article also discusses the major differences between public and private sector business practices, which definitely defines what we as future public administrators desire to accomplish in the field, and our motivations behind such.

Best Practices and Globalization

It is the era of globalization. With the evolution in the technology and science international borders have become smaller and one can travel or do the business across the borders with the ease and comfort.

I agree that reform has grown within the public administration arena because to do the business with ease it is very important that the administrative policy in each and every country should have some uniform practices which shall be easy to understand and based on some common business or trade policies. Since reform is incomplete without implementation of common practices within the employees working in the public administration therefore it is important to apply the important reformation practices to Human Resource Management.

Business model in the privately owned company or private sector has always been following the latest trends and practices. In private sectors the policies and administration is defined and maintained as per international practices so that people from different background and culture and easily interact and fulfill the business target as per the demand of the company operating in different countries. This is one of the difference in which public administration and private administration differs.

Best practices are nothing but the guidelines which are developed keeping in mind ethical business values and conduct which are to be followed while doing the business at multinational level.

As a future public administrators we need to focus on the rules and regulations which should be in lined as per international trade approach and help to support the reforms in the public administration arena.
