I wrote this : My 10 years at USPS has permitted me know significant postal administrative procedures and mail classification. I can perform several tasks
such as collect payment for postage stamps, examines mail for correct postage, answer question from customers about mail procedures,
postage rates, and mail delivery. I explain to my customers USPS online service resources and how they can save time in using online
service. And explain them how to file forms. Those are just a few examples I can offer a lot more services at my workplace.

Explanation / Answer

I have an experience of 10 years at USPS and this has enabled me to have a significant knowledge about the various postal administrative procedures and mail classifications. During this period I have had oppurtunities to work in various departments and hence can perform serveral tasks of which few I have mentioned a few. I have good knowledge about the postage value required for different places and hence can examine mail for correct postage with 100% accuracy. I am also very quick in calculations and can collect payment for postage stamps and meet the customer's need in a very short time, even during peak hours. I have good communication skills and am able to converse with the customers and clarify their queries in a clear and respectful manner. Due to my experience in various departments and knowledge about different mail procedures, postage rates, mail delivery timings, etc, I am able to always provide customers with a quick and correct response to all their various queries. In addition, I can also guide the customers on the various online services that USPS has made available to the customers and provide help whereever required in filling online forms for various services. I have been successful in the past in clearly explaining the various benefits of using online services and how it can save a lot of time and effort for the customer. And as a result of this, many customers have benefitted greatly from utilising the numerous online sevices that USPS has brought into practice. These are just few area of knowledge and experiences that I have had in the past, and I am sure I will be able to offer a lot more services and help the customers in many other ways in the best of my ability.
