EBP stands for Evidence Based Practice. In short, what this means is that all your decisions taken should be supported by evidence. It is not mandatory that the decision should always be swayed by the evidence present - however, what is important is that the decision should be logical based on the type and nature of the evidence present.

This is widely used in healthcare. The current practice in healthcare is that you first start with the patient. This is the logical starting point as he is the one with the problem, right? Once you have an understanding of this problem, you apply your own knowledge and formulate in your mind what the issue could be. Once this formulation is done, do the necessary studies/research/tests to collect evidence to corroborate what you have hypothesised. Next, what you have confirmed is applied on the patient, and then a final evaluation is done to ensure that the steps taken were correct.

Now, you might note that this is a very useful technique which can be applied while developing programs and projects. How can we do that?
