What will be the source and destination IP addresses in the packet header it leaves the NAT router? c. Assume that the server responds. What will be the source and destination IP addresses in the response packet header as it arrives at the NAT router?Explanation / Answer
1. when it leaves the private network the source ip address will be 10.0.0.2 and destinationation ip address will be the address of server 100.100.100.100
2.when it leaves the NAT router the source ip address will be used as global ip address as 16.16.16.16 and destination ip address will be 100.100.100.100
3.when the server responds back it uses the destination ip address as global ip address of NAT 16.16.16.16 and source ip address as 100.100.100.100 upon arrival on NAT, and when the NAT sends the packet to source it will replace the its's own global ip address by the 10.0.0.2 as destination ip address and source ip address will remain same as ip address of the server 100.100.100.100
