Explanation / Answer

I chose the topic "Soon your cars may be able to read your expressions" by John R. Quain. The main reason for choosing this topic is that the way of transportation is to the changed. Many human faults are causing accidents on roads. This may be prevented by using the artificial intelligence in cars. The artificial intelligence system will read the expressions of the person and depending on his mood and way of expression the car make him comfortable by playing music or controlling his speed. It also detects whenever a person get drunk and goes into auto pilot mode not allowing the drunken driver to drive the vehicle.

The system uses the cameras with the face recognition software and some biometric sensors to detect the persons expressions. They will track the persons eye movement and make a perfect and accurate decision about the direction in which the person what to move. When asked Mr. Zachary Bolton, a systems and technology engineer at Continental Automobile Group, he said that the car uses a series of cameras to track the facial recognition of the person. Then it will take a clear understanding about the movement of His eyes. There main aim was a make a accurate machine and human interference. Whenever a person was traveling in a line then he may some look after the side ways in road, in that situation the vehicle will alert about the speed limit or the collision warning by sounding an alarm.so by using this we can provide a high end security to the driver.

There rises a problem when the user wears sun glasses while driving. The answer is infrared camera which will still detects the person face even though he were glasses. The persons face in some cases can be used as a key for the vehicle so this is must and should to recognize his face.

In some cars like Chrysler the face recognition system uses the persons face to determine his mood and plays a songs according to his mood. It also changes the lighting in the car to make him happy. The car recognises the persons and changes the seat adjustment drive mode according to the previous settings of the person. Thus many technologies are coming into life in the field of automobile. Some uses the face recognition , finger print recognition etc.

They vehicle what to create a happy and calm mode for the drivers. An angry driver is prone to accidents. So to make him calm the car uses the songs and indoor lighting. There is also another problem that people may use the photos of the car owners to start the vehicle. But the vehicle camera may detect whether it is 2d picture or 3d picture. In some cases it also uses the blink function.thus the vehicle are getting smart day by day. In future we may see many advancements in the field of automobile.
