Other documentation

Diploma supplement

A diploma supplement is a document available in European countries that you can have attached to your higher education degree certificate. The diploma supplement was created in Europe in order to provide a way to more easily compare a European student's qualifications with those of other European students. For more information, please click on the following link:The Diploma Supplement

A diploma supplement is not required when applying to studies in Sweden. If you have a diploma supplement, it alone cannot be used as proof of your degree. However, your diploma supplement together with your degree certificate is acceptable in place of an official transcript of records, if courses and grades are clearly stated. The students name and/or reference number must be written on every page of the diploma supplement.

Change of name

If you legally change your name, for example after getting married, you must provide documentation of this. An example is a photocopy of your marriage certificate.
