However, the term does not always refer to the use of power but can also be said to be the unethical conduct of any person in the activity that he or she is carrying out to earn favours. From the most powerful to the least influential individuals, the vice has been in existence for a long while in the society. Some of the major forms of fraud include bribing extortion, looting of public resources among others. The effects of corruption are widespread and affect both the corrupt and the morally upright. They include reduced economic growth, unemployment, and loss of revenue among many others. Nigeria is among the most corrupt nations in the world being ranked at position 36 globally. According to Rotimi, Obasaju, Lawal & IseOlorunkanmi (2013), Nigerian corruption statistics show that, about ninety-five percent of the nation's population has admitted to having paid a bribe. The bribes amounted to over 400 billion naira as of 2016. Corruption in the country has affected the nations in many ways. According to Asaju, Arome & Anyio (2014), reviews show that corruption has impacted economic growth in Nigeria, statistical data gathered over the years by researchers shown that from 2013 to 2016 after every six month, 2013 and 2015 unemployment was high at one time and low at another However, since 2015 a uniform pattern showing increased rate of unemployment has been registered. From data collected after every six months, more and more people are unemployed In 2015, unemployment was at its lowest which was 6.4% and since then a steady increase is reported and in 2016 July the unemployment rate was at 13.3% (Nwankwo, 2014). This corruption menace has brought so much dismissive effects to Nigerian populace which have eventually attributed to the negative effects in Employment sector, Economic growth and Education sector in the country

The problem evaluated from the above case is effect of corruption on the population how it became as most awkward and defaming condition which is uncontrollable on quick basis.People involving in corruption not realising ethichs even more they proud on themselves by earning more money or properties at very less time and cannot focus on future of the country.

Corruption leads to low quality of services and poor justice to the people of the nation.The influence of corruption involves bribes, exortion and looting of public resources.Gradual increment of corruption at all levels of the nation directs to downfall of the nation economically and higher cases unemployement.

Corruption effects the total nation in many ways as corruption at buildings constructions directing lower standards and causing death of innocent people, corruption at education system directs to have less standard teaching systems and less knowledgable professions of doctors and engineers, corruption at vehicle licensing causing accidental deaths.
