The OS on the smartphone must support optimal storage, fast processor speed, and a large number of megapixels in the Camera The model of smartphone must have an OS that supports an extensive apps package and software. The most significant factor while buying a phone which is only inteded to be used for phone calls and texting, would be a model of smartphone which is supported by my preffered service provider. In this case, OS doesnt matter much,ad it is not used for any CPU intensive work like gaming or other things,, which might take high processing power. As, it is only for Phone calls and Texting, any simple OS would work.

There is no use if high end, fast processor or large number of pixels of camera for phone calls or texting.
