SSD stands for Solid-state drives .SSD are called specifically they don’t rely on moving parts for spinning disks. Instead,of data is saved the pool of a NAND flash. NAND is made up of what we called as floating gate transistors. The transistor designs used in DRAM, which must be freshened by the multiple times per second, NAND flash is designed for retain the charge state even when not powered up. This makes NAND a type of non-volatile memory.
