Tutoring is in high demand all across the world. The global private tutoring industry is approximately $102,800 million by 2018. Tutoring aids the students to deal with the course work, prepare for examinations and help them to attain overall academic development.

Having students who have previously had the courses students want tutoring for is a great idea. Since these students will be a part of the same university (UVI), logistics won’t be a problem. My friend proposes that this business will be not-for-profit. This idea is a service idea. Teaching is not a product business but it is a service. Hence, tutoring is a service idea. This is not business idea because the ultimate aim of any business is to make profit. However, since my friend wants that tutoring be provided to the students for free, this idea is not a business idea.
