Following are the reasons because of which the data mining used to use on large data sets.
"Data mining is the method of examining massive amounts of data in an attempt to get associations, models, and perspicacity to recognize the association among two or more things in your data"

Suppose there are hundreds of brands there and thousands of models have been launching in Market. This will create confusion in one's mind that which one should buy. Then, in this case, data mining helps you to choose the best one as per your requirement. In this case, data mining techniques give you the idea of classifying all the goods and show you related things related to you which you want to buy.
In data mining technique developer play a crucial role in mining the related data from the large data set. As the data in the database are increasing day by day this is getting very hard for the data mining to extract the data from the database.
Therefore, the conclusion is the data mining help very well to extract the only necessary data from the database.
