Reflecting upon your life, how has technology effected you? Have the effects been equal or equitable? Have you or someone you know been displaced? Has the effects of technological change created additional social and cultural tensions? Has resistance to technological advancement created tensions or adversity?

First thing yes, technology inevitably affects social and cultural constructs. Technology has affected in many ways. There was that one time we had to wait for hours to book tickets for our favorite movie while now we can do that with a click. and we now feel that these changes are equitable. I don't know anyone who has been displaced because of technology rather technology has just reduced their work burden only. No, the effects of technological change haven't created any social or cultural tension, I mean why would it, technology has been developed for the betterment of our lives. yes. resistance to technological advancement has created tension. Remember the time when computers were being started to use in banks and people were very fearful that if the computer will be installed it will snatch their jobs from their hands. So yeah in some cases advancement has created tensions.
