Earlier the trend was that the women did not participate in the job market but the time has been changed now. Currently the data says that about 66% workforce was male and nearly 55% were females. These are approximate values hence not equal to 100%.

The retirement is there due to the poor health issues, and due to the huge workforce the old age is becoming obsolete.
