A. Systems request:
Project Name: Automated payroll System for the mid-size organization
Project Sponsor: CTO of the mid-size organization
Business need: The mid size organization currently enters the payroll transactions manually and maintains inofrmation about details loke gross pay, tax deducted, net pay, employee name, etc. This is an old and inefficient system.
This project is aimed at obtaining a system that will automate the payroll transactions. All different information regarding an employee's pay can be tracked in a structured way.
B. Feasibility study:
Operational feasibility: The proposed project will make the task of entering all payroll associated information simpler. It will also make easier for a HR person to go through different information regarding an employee or a department or a division in terms of payroll related data.
Economic feasibility: The project will lead to positive economic benefits to the organization to the tune of $65,000 a year.
