Q 1. Message Purpose vs Message Outcome
Purpose of the message is nothing but the reason behind sending or conveying the message to the person we want . The message has generally three purposes , first is just to give information , second is to convince or pursuade and third one is for goodwill message where we congratulate someone or give wishes. Message outcome is the end result that can be observed If our purpose of the message is to pursuade someone , & if we are successful in doing that then it can be said that the outcome was positive. The basic difference between this two is that message purpose has reason to send whereas outcome reveals if the porpose is successful or not.
Q2 Difference between primary audience and secondary audience
The audience which receives message directly is called as primary audience. They are also called as target audience. Whereas secondary audience are those audience who are not target audeince but still recieves message . This type of audience are not so important for the advertiser or message sender. For example A Video gaming company that targets girl who likes playing video games on console is a secondary audience as the size of audience is very small.
Q3 Importance of analysing both
It is important to analyse both the audience so that the message would be more effectively delivered. The presentation , purpose and outcome will take its course of action in a positive way if both audiences are known to the communicator.

There are few important question which must be addressed for effective communication , they are
a) What are the expectations of audience?
b)Do we have adequate knowledge of the topic we are going to deliver?
c)Audience size
d) Egocentrism
Q If the message is pursuasive then we need to address the questions like
a) What is the age group of the target audience?
b)Does audience know about the topic ?
c)Exactly what you want to pursuade to your audience?
d)What information will influence them?

It is important to consider your audience while selecting the medium of message because not doing so will affect the effectiveness of the message. Target audience should be connected through right medium. The message might not reach the primary audience if the medium selected is wrong . Therefor it is important to consider your audience, anaylise when selecting the mediumm to deliver the message.
Q6 Difference between direct and indirect approach in organizing a message?
When your audience is neutral is positive about your message then the direct approch is convenient.There is no resistance to your message . For example , When a customer is told " You are our lucky winner for the contest" this message will have no resistance .
When you have a bad news to convey , you will first provide the evidence about it, and then the audience about the message. It may get resistance , or the audience may be displeased by your message.
