stuck on correct response with O.s and linux questions any help would be great

Explanation / Answer
Fragmentation issues is something just like inability of use memory space.
In some situation processes are loaded and removed from the provided memory. Due to this, there are free holes presented to satisfy a request but these holes are non contiguous i.e. the provided memory is divided into large no. Of small holes. This phenomenon is known as External Fragmentation.
Where as in internal fragmentation the physical memory is divided into fixed size blocks and then the memory is allocated to processes in unit of block sizes. The memory allocated may be slightly larger than the requested memory and this difference bis known as Internal fragmentation i.e. the memory is present to the internal to a partition but is of no use.
In external fragmentation by the used of segmentation and paging we can eliminate totally where as the problem of internal fragmentation can be somewhat reduced, but it can not be totally eliminated in any scenariodue to this it is considered worst in comparision to external fragmentation
