For the apartment rental program, I would develop a new system based on the merits of the currently used system which would complement the working exponentially. The system would need initial implementation in the sense that each division and the owners will need to install the system. This system would facilitate the different interactions between the tenant and owner. This system would act as a form of record box where the tenant could fill in requests about the housing problems, services and also be able to renew financial transactions and leases. But to keep the system from overdevelopment I would not be including a central accounting system integrated into the same.
Since it is an implementation of a pre-existing solution, there would not be any huge requirements as such and could work with the implementation already existing.this system augments the good point in the previous systems and works to improve upon them and will be easier to learn, implement and maintain and would be efficient. In database management as a whole.
The problem that this system will address would be extendability, large data management and simplification of data entry processes. Most solutions used for this task are not. Easy to comprehend and with large databases, it becomes hard to manage it with such data changes.
It is always good where the dealing is divided into smaller more comprehensible structures and this system aims to provide the functionality of that division. This will be a multi. User system with the clear division. From manager to the owner to tenants and the central management. This system will be created as per the specification and needs of the apartment buildings, depending on. The size and the population of 4he tenants.
The system doesn't need to depend on the scope of the project, rather the need of the users, therefore, it can be scaled in both the directions as per required and also does not require a huge technical expertise or background.
The system can be shown on paper with a UML diagram and a case study can be provided with the proposal (outside the scope of this answer but it is possible)
