Therefore,

Good quality units after stage 1 = 0.98 x 100.N

Good quality units after stage 2 = 0.97 x 0.98 x 100.N

Good quality units after stage 3 = 0.96 x 0.97 x 0.98 x 100.N

Good quality units after stage 4 = 0.92 x 0.96 x 0.97 x 0.98 x 100.N = 0.8395X 100,N

Since daily yield = 100 good units

Therefore ,

0.8395 x 100.N = 100

0.8395.N = 1

Or, N = 1/0.8395 = 1.1911
