The purpose of this assignment is to get you out observing how other people interact with games/Apps in iPad or similar devices (smart phones are also included) Observe someone (lt does not matter the AGE) who is playing a particular game in iPad or similar devices (or you can observe your friend or a relative). Determine the nature of the game. What are the game's features that a player can use? What are the user's tasks? For each task, write down the steps involved, and then inspect the interface and the interaction for anything that would pose a problem for the user in completing the task. Describe how the user interacts with the system Were the buttons of the touch screen too small (user's finger size was not considered appropriately by designer)? Did the button-to-action mapping make sense (stimulus-response mappings, cognition issues)? How many times would it take to learn the steps required to complete a task (learning aspects)? You are to write a brief report on your observations. Include a clear description (aided by photos, perhaps) of the interface(s) (and its/their location) you chose and the specific tasks you wanted to observe people performing. Then, you are to summarize the observations you made of someone trying to simply play a game. Finally, try to come up with some sort of story and scenarios about what, if anything, about the design of this interface succeeded, and what failed. Ipad is one of the important invention donne by the Apple company.For their system there are different games or software which are available for the ios system.Gaming industry has changed in a large scale till date.The advanement which is been done is surely to be noteworthy.One of the most popular game which is available in the market is the game known as TRAFFIC RIDER.This game is of the racing genre.Here the user gets to cruise among the city,dessert or highway with other traffice cars.This is mainly the race against the time.User has to control the bike crucialy at high speed so that it completes each of the level at the given stipulated time.At the starting of the career the user is given a bike,so the suser has to complete each of the level to earn different bonus and money so that it can be used to upgrade the ride or buy a better bike.The challenges are basically reaching a point at given time,cover certain distance ,overtake certain cars making stunts and that too with different weather condition.It makes the user addictive to the game.With practice the user gain precise control over the bike.The control are on the two sides of the screen.The controls include accelaration button,break control,beeper,horn,stunt.The game will be advantageous to the people those who are using big screen ipad,Because it will give them the space to control it or else will be difficult to position the fingers on the small screen.Otherwise this is the perfect game to spend the time.
