Cloud Computing is already a multi-billion dollar industry and the development of AI applications is as well. So my question is will Cloud Providers make the accessibility to AI applications possible, so people don't need expensive computer equipment to run these applications because everything will be on the cloud? We learned that some cloud providers offer certain "Pre-Set" packages depending on the industry a certain organization is. It can be a possibility that Cloud Providers will now create their own AI applications to offer, but it won't be at a steep price in my opinion. Since the Cloud Computing industry is so competitive, Cloud Providers may offer AI just to retain their market share and not to charge a premium since other cloud Providers will probably follow the market trend of offering AI applications.
To look at it from another perspective, how will Cloud Computing impact AI developers? Platform as a Service (One of the three main Cloud Computing Methods) can definitely help a business who looks to develop AI technology or software. Since PaaS comes with its own O/S and Servers the business doesn't have to go out and spend money to obtain this capital which helps re-directs their focus on just developing applications.
