The venues should provide easy access to visitors to intercept to ask questions during the morning and afternoon;

The survey should be done only during the days of the tournament which are approximately September 13 - 17.

Explanation / Answer

Ques: Name two specific venue (i.e. location) and provide the real name in the community where tourists should be intercepted and explain your rationale for each.

(1) Name of venue: Tanglewood Park

This is a good venue because: Nearest to the main venue i.e., only 0.9 km. Also the combination of its streams, woodlands, and grassy pastures with the traditions of its architecture, horses, gardening, and wide range of recreational activities make Tanglewood an ideal countryside park to attract more visitors.

(1) Name of venue: Yadkin Valley Wine Tours

This is a good venue because: 2.1km only, as well as attracts large number of visitors.

Write two (2) completely different questions you will ask visitors and explain how the answers to those questions will benefit you to determine ECONOMIC (i.e. dollar) impact.

(1) Question (Write an actual question): When did you arrive and when will you depart? Where did you stay while you were in the area (Hotel, Vacation Rental, Friend/Family, etc.)

How will the answer help determine economic impact?

It will help in estimating the total accommodation contribution.

(2) Question (Write an actual question): On average, how much did EACH PERSON in your travel party spend PER DAY on the following during your trip?

• Food & Beverage (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, Alcohol)

• Ground Transportation (Parking, Cabfare, Gasoline, Public Transportation)

• Entertainment (Sporting events, Shows & Exhibits, Clubs & Nightlife, Tours, Other)

• Shopping (Clothing, Electronics, Jewelry, Souvenirs, Other)

How will the answer help determine economic impact?

Local spending by visitors also contributes to the overall economic impact of the event, and is estimated based on the number of visitors and the average spending per day.

Ques: two (2) recommendations would you offer to other communities that are considering hosting a major golf event?

1) Build In Some Comforts and Contests, so that the attendees have an enjoyable environment, one that not only warrants said contribution, but spurs their involvement in future proceedings.

2) Should have an After-Golf Plan, so that changing the climate will help the groups engaged and spirited.
