Do a web search to locate HCI tools appropriate for the IT manager. To get you started, OSHA has a rich set of free tools covering a wide range of pertinent topics available on the web at http://www.osha.gov/SLTC/ergonomics/controls.html. You might have already used the tool for workspace design, and they have others for cable pulling, repetitive strain, etc. The Federal Government site, http://www.usability.gov/ collects many tools and techniques that apply to all of IT.
