hello i am having some trouble changing the password after i write passwd and then (current) UNIX Password: comes up i cant type anything how do i make the New Password appear if i hit enter it just ask me to retype passwd

Explanation / Answer

It will not display whatever you want... Just assume you typed entered... After enter your password, press enter. If you want to check enter random characters. After enter, it will display invalid that is passwords doesn't match.
