a) As instructed, open Excel. Go to File->Open and choose the given file. It will open. Then go to File, and click on Save As. And save the file as e04p1Collectibles_LastFirst.

b) Now, you need to select a range from A2 to D31. For that, click the first cell i.e. A2. Press shift and use the arrow keys to select the remaining cells upto D31. You can even use mouse instead, and click the first cell and having the left click of mouse pressed, choose the cells.

Now that we have our range selected, click on the Name box, present on the left side of the formula bar, and type "Colors" and press Enter. This will assign the name "Colors" to the selected range.

c) Next, click on A2 cell. Click on View->Freeze panes-> Freeze top row.This is freeze/lock the top row.

d) Next, click on the Insert->Table->Click OK. A dialog box for Create Table will appear.
