AES otherwise known as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) which is a symmetric block cipher has been considered by US for protecting the information as well as implementation in the softwares as well as hardwares for any encrypted/sensitive data.

The criteria on which it is to be selected are :

1) Security : Ability to resist any attack

2) Cost : It is global and non-exclusive

3) Implementation : Flexibility of the algorithm, suitability of the algorithm all are included in this.

These criteria's are important as it helps to create an advanced encryption standard algorithm which would help to prevent the attacks in an effective and efficient way.

The effectiveness and ease of use of AES is as below:
