Starting up an energy drink requires bringing something new in the market and comparing it with others already available. The new energy drink would be launched in the white tea category as compared to the prevalent green tea in the market, with the addition of vitamin C and reduced sugar content. It would be a blend of tea with real fruit juices while other competitors only use fruit flavors. The bottle size would also be unique with 350-millilitre bottle with a lower retail price. The product screening and testing is done by putting all beverage products into a “spectrum”, with soft drinks on the left-most wing of the spectrum, following by fruit juices, tea in the middle, and pure water on the right.
