Networks and e-commerce have a commonality in that they are both changing and growing. The needs for larger networks as E-commerce gets more complicated and as the opportunities expand, requirements are growing exponentially. How e-commerce related with internet, intranet and extranet?

E-commerce is an application that is used to buy and sell things, offering services etc. over the networks like internet, intranet and extranet.

It includes ordering the items in the company website, electronic data will be interchanged and funds transfer and delivery of products.

Intranet is used only inside the company organization used for information sharing, business support like attending the customer’s feedback incidents etc. It allows only authorised people.

Extranets are network that uses internet for its purpose. It connects intranet of the business people with the intranet of the customers, suppliers, contractors, partners etc.

Internet is the most efficient way of communicating with the people or customers directly into their home. It publishes or shares information using the web pages, blogs, applications etc.

Nowadays everyone is using internet to buy things that makes them feel better because it involves less time and more compatible. We can refer many reviews among the customers who is already using it.

So the e-commerce sites are playing a key role in the marketing the company’s products more effectively with less advertisement needs.

But ours company is not yet have any personal website to market its products and not ready to make a contract with e-commerce giants.

So the revenue for our company has reduced much and the customers are running behind the e-commerce sites.

Internet of things will display the services offered by the vendors who are all contracted with the sites that customer using. So, hence it does not display any of our services so it is again a big issue for us in getting genuine customers at the right time.
