If the host country (where a remote employee lives / works) monitors network traffic, how can a multi-national company maintain the security and privacy of its information and intellectual property?

1) One can use the technology to facilitate the team and also manage people remotely by the following:

a) Just in time training platform

b) Online collaboration solutionss

c) Web based performance management systems for evaluating the systems

d) Recognizing the platform online.

2) One can follow few measures to manage the conflicts in a remote workfore.

a) Creation of the virtual site for team's primary focus

b) Encourage to protect the privacy of the team

c) A point person to be assigned for each issue

d) Use of divergence then convergence

Yes different mode of communication is much needed for conflict management .

Use of online meeting room would facilitate the discussion and would make the management know the issue much better where as the discussion board would force someone to write the issue after which the panel would discuss the issue further. In email it is a formal based communication and many people generally don't prefer such kind of communication.

3) A multinational company would help to mintain the security and privacy of the information and the intellectual property by adopting a technique of management system approach, establishing a IP process visibility and other problems, Implementing the preventive measures and responding well to the violations.
